Caremart Footcare Services (Cheshire)

Caremart Footcare are developing a much needed toe nail cutting service in the Central and Eastern Cheshire area.

The service complements the existing service provided by the NHS Podiatry Service and will develop along the lines of a social enterprise model to reach sustainability.

At Present we are working in partnership with the joint commissioning team within Central and Eastern Cheshire PCT and other voluntary services throughout the Cheshire area to set up the service.

We have established a base at Eagle Bridge Health Centre in Crewe and are looking to start the service by mid July 2010.

The service will be provided at centre based clinics and also home visits can be arranged.

The service is for anyone who is:

• A resident in Central and Eastern Cheshire
• Unable to cut their own toe nails
• Not receiving a toe nail cutting service from the NHS

The proposed cost is £6.00 at a clinic and £9.00 for a home visit.
