Caremart Footcare Services (East Lancashire)

Caremart Footcare are running a much needed toe nail cutting service for older people in the East Lancashire area.

The service complements the existing service provided by the NHS Podiatry Service and has developed along the lines of a social enterprise model to reach sustainability.

Through our involvement with the East Lancashire Partnership Board for Older People and the Pendle Seniors Group we have formed a partnership with the Podiatry Service who train our nail cutting assistants.

The service is being provided at centre based clinics and also home visits can be arranged.

The service is for anyone who is:

• A resident in East Lancashire
• Over 55
• Unable to cut their own toe nails
• Not receiving a toe nail cutting service from the NHS

The cost is £6.00 at the clinics and £9.00 for a home visit.
