Caremart Footcare Services (St Helens and Halton)

Caremart Footcare are developing a much needed toe nail cutting service in the St Helens and Halton area.

The service complements the existing service provided by the NHS Podiatry Service and will develop along the lines of a social enterprise model to reach sustainability.

At Present we are working in partnership with the St Helens and Halton PCT to set up the service.

We have established a base at the Lowe House Health Centre in St Helens and intend to start the service by August 2010.

The service will be provided at centre based clinics and also home visits can be arranged.

The service is for anyone who is

• A resident in St Helens & Halton area
• Unable to cut their own toe nails
• Not receiving a toe nail cutting service from the NHS

The proposed cost is £6.00 at a clinic and £9.00 for a home visit.
